Our neighbors and Dragons WiFi provider altafiber are hosting a pre-game party at their retail site in downtown Dayton at 230 Webster Street on Thursday, June 6.There will be fun and games, free food from Sueno and free drinks from Warped Wing. The Green Team and Gem will make a guest appearance for the party.Check out their retail location, enjoy the festivities, and head on over to Day Air Ballpark for the Dayton Dragons game against the Lansing Lugnuts. Party runs from 5:30 – 7:30 at in the altafiber parking lot.

Last night, the Dragons and Penn Station honored Penn Station Athlete of the Year recipient, Sam Erbach, during the game against the Lansing Lugnuts.She threw out a ceremonial first pitch, and was presented an engraved bat during a special moment at the end of the first inning. Sam, a recent graduate of Waynesville High School, was selected from eight Athlete of the Month winners in May and received a 10,000 scholarship to continue her sports endeavors at Xavier University.For the past 26 years, Penn Station has been honoring the best of Dayton’s youth with its “Athlete of the Month” program.
