CUSTOMERS at Walmart can get their hands on a transformed clothing brand at low prices.

The retail giant announced last week that it had completely transformed its No Boundaries fashion line.

Clothing sold under the No Boundaries label from Walmart will now be targeted at a predominantly Generation Z-based audience, per a press release.

No Boundaries is worth at least $2 billion and will now bring "a modern, relevant, and youthful assortment with new fabrication, shapes and styles" to young adults.

The company also made a thoughtful move to hire style experts and designers to the team to create the fresh New Boundaries look.

It will even bring the line to Roblox, a popular gaming platform.

"This is the first time Walmart has dedicated fashion designers to the No Boundaries brand and reflects a major shift in how the retailer is thinking about building and reintroducing a cohesive brand that speaks directly to the Gen Z customer," the release noted.

The brand added that it recognized Gen Z customers value self-expression and want the pieces to be affordable so they can mix and match however they like.

"That individuality is core to the No Boundaries DNA: style rooted in casual trend and weekend wear with of-the-moment, youth essentials designed to make their own," read the release.

Jen Jackson Brown, senior vice president of Walmart US fashion brands, echoed a similar sentiment about looking forward to who Walmart's future customers will be with the No Boundaries line — Gen Z.

"There's a huge opportunity for Walmart to reach a Gen Z customer with a brand that has both incredible style and unbelievable prices," Brown said in a statement.

MONEY-MINDED

Walmart stressed that even with expert assistance, the line would keep the low prices it became known for, with at least 80% of the merchandise starting below $15.

Some start at just $5, including select crop tops, graphic tees, short-shorts, and shirttail dresses.

The size selection for the No Boundaries line is also vast to fit all body shapes.

They range from XXS to 5X in women's pieces and XS to 3X in men's.

WHEN AND WHERE?

Over 130 pieces will come with the line, including many designs that are oversized and baggy.

Roblox is a popular gaming platform that can be downloaded on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and even an iPhone or Android device.

  • Users create a free online account and can play several user-created games from shooters to role-play
  • It also has a social media component that allows for conversations between players, developers, and team efforts to make different games
  • About 214 million play Roblox per month, generating at least $7 million in revenue per day, according to data from CNN.
  • Along with Walmart, brands like Forever 21, Chipotle, and Kellogg's have gotten involved on the platform
  • Players can completely customize how their Roblox character looks through different hairstyles and clothing options
  • There's also in-game currency called Robux
  • Roblox offers a premium membership for $5 to $20 per month

The new No Boundaries line officially releases on July 16, in-store and online.

Customers will be first notified through social media and the Walmart Discovered experience on Roblox.

Walmart noted it's the first brand to offer "real-world commerce" through the popular game with the help of a creator to curate the selection.

Users can buy actual outfits in the real world through the game and get virtual twins of themselves wearing what they buy in the virtual landscape.

Walmart is also offering shoppers other sweet deals this summer.
