A must visit when you are in town - One of the best museums we have been to. We have seen the movie, read the story and wondered what more is to say.We found the museum excellent and spent at keast one hour reading almost all the signs. Fortunately every sign is in english as well.It is a must to visit

Interesting and poignant - The museum had a great range of original objects from the event and helpful context.Very accessible for English speakers and the curator is really friendly and helpful. We were there for 90 minutes and could have stayed longer to fully appreciate all of the information.

An extraordinary museum for respectful representation of an extraordinary event - The story of the crash is extraordinary. The museum tells and illuminates history from different angles, neutral, respectful, biographical, authentic. If you don't know the story, it's best to start with the film in the basem*nt. The design of the museum is unique and you get sucked into history and forget about time. The staff is very accommodating, the owner is very helpful and super nice, speaks perfect German and gives additional information.

An incredible museum dedicated to the victims of a remarkable crash event. - This is a must see when in Montevideo. You don’t need to research this event in advance if you don’t know about it. Spend at least 90 min to go through the small museum to understand the magnitude of this tragic but inspirational event. The movie in the basem*nt is the best place to start .

One of the great human survival stories stunningly told. An essential experience in Montevideo - This was without doubt one of my highlights of Uruguay. The curators have done an extraordinary job of combining meticulous research with creativity in how the wealth of information is presented. The Andes miracle / tragedy is one of the most extraordinary human survival stories of our time, and the generosity of its survivors in sharing what they learnt emerges with how their experience is conveyed here. It offers insight into the pride, and character of Uruguay, and is an optimistic look at the best of humanity - lessons well worth remembering at times when we face the worst of it. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to spend longer at the museum - allocating 3 hours at minimum would have enabled me to do greater justice to what is on display here. This is more than a museum. It is a testament to both staying alive human and being alive.

A must in Montevideo - One of the best private museums I've ever seen. A must if you are in Montevideo. The reworking of this drama is excellent and thought through to the last detail. I would estimate 3 hours to have enough time to visit the museum thoroughly. Very well done. Thanks Jörg and team!

details of how the 72 days in prison in the Andes forced them to learn about survival techniques, teamwork - An immersion on the tragedy ofAndes, enough details and stockpile to have a little of the idea, of what was the Miracle of the 16 survivors survive without food, gifts, medications and contact with the world.
