What will the future hold? Will all investments be screened through a climate lens? 🌍✅ As of November 2022, 140 countries had announced or considered net-zero targets. This indicates the fundamental transformation & action needed but also the transition opportunities over the next decade. ✅ Enabling government policy is critical on this pathway (as called on by the IOSCO), as private capital can be harnessed to support sustainability, climate mitigation & climate adaptation.✅ Regulating sustainability and climate reporting standards can ensure consistency and bring greater corporate disclosure comparability. ✅ It is not only for identifying risks but also investment opportunities driven by the transition to a net zero-carbon world & identifying the risk of stranded assets. ✅ Climate change is relevant to all economies, regions, and industries and can impact all asset classes or investments. #ESG #ESGReporting #Sustainability #ClimateAction #SustainabilityReporting #ClimateReporting
