🎉 Excited to Share: I’ve Passed My APQC Framework Certification! 🎉This experience has allowed me to delve into the world of frameworks and gain proficiency in their application. Here are some key takeaways:Understanding Different Types of Frameworks: Provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the various types of frameworks. Whether it’s process frameworks, decision frameworks, or strategic frameworks, I now have the knowledge to navigate them effectively.Alignment of Alternate Views and Needs: One of the most powerful aspects of frameworks is their ability to align different perspectives and needs within an organization. By leveraging comprehensive frameworks, I can bridge gaps and foster collaboration across teams.Leveraging Framework Principles for Performance Improvement: Frameworks aren’t just theoretical constructs—they’re practical tools for driving performance improvement. I’m equipped to apply framework principles to enhance processes, decision-making, and overall organizational effectiveness.Networking Bonus: Beyond the coursework, I had the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals from diverse industries. It was fascinating to learn how others are using the APQC framework in their process improvement initiatives.

Finding fulfillment and pride extends beyond the confines of a traditional workweek. You may be surprised to learn that not only do I do Lean but I also enjoy rolling my sleeves up and diving into home remodeling projects. For those who know me well, you are probably wondering if I incorporate my Lean thinking when engaging in home remodeling and I do have to say that this is no exception so the answer is yes. I believe that Lean methodology can be applied in all situations. Every endeavor is an opportunity to expand my skill set, and through this hobby I am guided by the expertise of Donald Vlahos, a master tradesman and project managerSharing my latest project, completed over Memorial Day weekend.

You may remember Paul W. Critchley who was a speaker at the previous UNH Lean Summits I organized in the past. With the disbanding of Lean at UNH and the cancellation of our Lean Summits I would highly recommend attending this conference in its place. Paul is working hard to make it a fantastic event. I am Dagmar Vlahos and I fully support Paul and the New England Lean Summit.

What an exhilarating start to the week! 🎉 I’m thrilled to share that I received heartfelt recognition from one of my peers for the impactful work I’ve accomplished during my first 30 days atUKG. When you’re part of a company that trulyvalues peer-to-peer recognition, it’s like a refreshing breeze that invigorates your commitment to excellence. Knowing that your efforts are seen and appreciated by colleagues fuels your motivation to give your absolute best. Being part of an organization that prioritizes its employees and fosters a culture of recognition is a true privilege. Not only does leadership acknowledge our achievements, but our peers also lift us up and celebrate our wins. Today, I was humbled to receive recognition through theUKG program called Celebrate U. It left me in awe and reinforced my belief that we’re all part of an incredible team. Even the smallest recognition can be the light that helps someone shine bright and feel valued. Have you recognized someone today? Let’s continue to uplift each other, celebrate victories, and create a positive impact together!#UKG #RecognitionMatters #Teamwork #CelebrateU #Grateful

Celebrating My First 30 Days at UKG as part of the Center of Excellence Team! What an incredible journey it has been! In just 30 days, I've experienced a whirlwind of learning, collaboration, and growth here at UKG. I couldn't be more thrilled to share some highlights from my journey so far.First and foremost, I must express my gratitude to the amazing team at UKG. From day one, they have welcomed me with open arms, making me feel right at home. Their support and camaraderie have truly set the tone for a fantastic start to my UKG adventure. One of the highlights of my first month was the opportunity to participate in the APQC Certification Program. Over three days of intensive learning, I gained invaluable insights and skills that I'm eager to apply in my role as a Program Manager. It's truly empowering to be part of an organization that invests in the professional development of its employees.Additionally, the two-day team collaboration sessions were nothing short of inspiring. Coming together with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise, we exchanged ideas, brainstormed solutions, and forged stronger bonds as a team. These sessions reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration and collective intelligence to drive meaningful change.I must also commend UKG for their exceptional onboarding program. From the moment I stepped through the door, it was evident that UKG knows how to do onboarding right. The comprehensive training, resources, and support provided have enabled me to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact in my role.Looking ahead, I am incredibly excited about the future at UKG. I am eager to continue collaborating with my talented colleagues, driving initiatives to increase the adoption and utilization of the iGrafx platform. Together, I am confident that we will achieve great things and make a positive difference for our customers and stakeholders.Thank you, UKG, for an amazing first 30 days.
